PLAYLIST PAGE
LISTS THE SONGS
Broadway's Biggest Hits prides itself on playing a great variety of
Broadway songs. The music library contains more than 2,000 CDs and the
show strives to feature as many different songs from as many different
musicals as possible, while emphasizing the music found in current
Broadway shows. To find what's been played so far in 2008, check out the
Playlist page.
NOVEMBER
PROGRAMS
November 1-2
SONGS FOR
ELECTION
With Election Day on Tuesday, it's only natural that we play some songs
that mention politics, politicians and a bit of corruption. We'll hear
tracks from the musicals "1776," "Fiorello," "Mr. President" and "L'il
Abner" as well as hits from today's popular musicals.
November 8-9
SITTING DOWN
WITH SHREK
"Shrek the Musical" comes to Broadway and we sit down with the cast,
including stars Brian d'Arcy James (who plays Shrek), Sutton Foster
(Princess Fiona), Christopher Sieber (Lord Farquaad) and Daniel Breaker
(Donkey), to find out about this new show at the Broadway Theatre.
November 15-16
A FESTIVAL OF
IGNORED SONGS
With so many songs in the music library - literally tens of thousands -
it's only natural that some get ignored. This performance is filled with
songs that haven't been played in 2008 - yet.
November 22-23
SNOW FALLS
ON BROADWAY
Choreographer Randy Skinner tells us about the music and dance found in
the Broadway staging of "Irving Berlin's White Christmas," which has
limited holiday run at the Marquis Theatre. It's also time to give
thanks and Broadway's Biggest Hits digs out some songs for the occasion
as well as some that mention food for Thanksgiving.
November 29-30
CAROLS FOR
CHRISTMAS
It's an annual tradition. Broadway's Biggest Hits begins serving up
Christmas songs from Broadway musicals, such as "Subways Are for
Sleeping," "Flahooley" and "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas," and
carols done by Broadway stars. The closer it gets to Christmas, the more
we play!

Broadway's Biggest Hits' listeners donated nearly $2,000 during 2008 to
help the show cover some of its operating expenses, and we're extremely
grateful for the support that enabled the show to continue and to
celebrate 10 years on the air!
